In case some non-raiders think about getting Ashen Verdict Rep for the ring rewards: Go for it, entrance trash isn't too hard 15 rep per normal elite. Yeah, getting rep aint impossible with a 2x5 grp.

Cleared all four bosses with my main tonight : You will prolly get rep from the trash in start. Cheers for posting, was thinking about doing this myself. Shouldn't take too long to get enough rep for the first rings. The Deathbound Wards seems to be triggered by randomly placed traps didn't check it myself, friend who grinded to honored first day told me about it.

So be careful, those mobs are probably pure rape for a non-raiding 5-box without the 2nd healer we wouldn't have killed one. About 1. They reset if you pull them through the gate though. Those traps are actually invisible unless you got a rogue in the party who can also disarm them. I got my rings yesterday just friendly and it really wasn't that bad albeit not very entertaining.

The Wards are indeed not much fun at all but you can always run out and back into the starting room when you got a trap triggered since they evade.

I usually got about rep per run and then waited a few minutes for the mobs to reset. Yay, friendly now.. My 1st Deathbound Ward dropped some lvl legs for my healer Leggings of Dubious Charms which made up for the huge repair bill :D Cleared up to the boss but after a quick read of the tactics I thought better of it and continued farming.

After that, I didn't bother pulling the last few groups of mobs each run as I found them a little painful. Well worth spending a little time on this for the ring : Edit: I kept my team just inside the friendly area and tanked in the arch way, which made it easy to reset. The Rings from Ashen Verdict Friendly-Exalted are insane and should probably be utitlised by everyone, so here's a quick guide on farming the rep.

This guide is for 10man Icecrown Citadel normal mode. Mobs The Damned - Level 80 Elite mobs with k health. These mobs are just like insects, don't do any real damage but are just there in abundance.

When they die they explode for 10k health so try to keep everyone topped and melee watch yourself when AoE'ing. Servent of the Throne - Level 80 Elite mobs with k health. These mobs appear in nearly every pack, do nothing special but cast a Glacial Bolt that hits for a considerable amount of damage. Ancient Skeletal Soldier - Level 80 Elite mob with k health. Nothing special, tank and spank mobs. Might have a cleave that hits for 12k but I'm not positive.

Nerub'ar Broodkeeper - Level 80 Elite mobs with k health. Again nothing special, just sit there spitting out scarabs that hit for 3. These cast a spell called 'Dark Mending' which should ideally be interupted.

Deathbound Ward - Level 82 Elite mobs with 1,k health. These are the hardest mobs in the trash zone and are optional if you have a Rogue. There are four traps scattered across the 2 rooms of trash 2 in each room which can be de-activated by a stealth Rogue or can be activated by anyone to spawn these.

Pull this pack and the patroling pack inside at the same time, and drag them to the guards. The guards and your AoE will kill this pack in around 15 seconds. Don't worry if you pull one of the side packs on the left and right because they reset at the entrance of the room. Use stuns, kicks, counter-spells etc to interupt it's Glacial Bolt and it'll die without harm. Then proceed to AoE 'The Damned' pack of four mobs which your tank should have aggro on.

Do not try pulling these to the guards as they will reset. Middle Pack 1 x Servent 2 x Nerub'ar 2 x Ancient Soldier Have your tank run in and aggro this pack and use the same strategy as above on the 'Servent of the Throne'. Lock it down and kill it asap. Once this is dead proceed to AoE the other 4 mobs while watching for heals from the 'Nerud'ar Broodkeeper'.

Have your tank tank all of them paying attention to heal casts and glacial bolts. Pull this pack with a ranged and have the tank LoS behind the first room wall. Pull them to the first room and deal with them there; because traps can be set off in that room which will spawn Wards and require a reset.

Deathbound Ward These guys are the trickiest as they are like mini-bosses. There are four of these per reset, and have to be activated by traps. They can be skipped if you do not want to kill them though they are worth the most rep Have your Rogues scout the first room for the traps. Once the trap s have been activated you should wait at the entrance of the room for the Ward to patrol the room, and pull him to the entrance not outside it to kill him.

He does a LOT of damage which will require spam heals from both your healers. He does an instant-cleave every 1 or 2 seconds which means no-one at all should be infront of him except the tank. Melee should not move in to hit him until the tank has him stationary and a tank spot set.

He does a 'Disrupting Shout' which interupts any cast you are currently casting so healers and casters should watch out for when that is cast once every ten seconds or so and try not to cast anything during it. This mob is disarmable, very recommended. Again if you don't want to kill this mob you should have a Rogue de-activate the trap. Reputation The invading mobs at the start 'The Damned' are worth zero reputation so should be ignored when possible; they stop invading after you kill the first pack.

All mobs in this instance are worth between 15 to 75 reputation with 'The Damned' being worth 15 and 'Deathbone Ward' being worth Per run you can expect to get between and reputation depending on the circumstances. Your reputation per run is significantly decreased if you skip the 'Deathbone Ward' mobs. Alternatively, all mobs are kite-able inside there Except the Deathbone Ward so you can have a team of Mages work together and farm reputation that way slowly but surely! Reset To reset the instance, after killing all the trash up to the first boss, simply run out and have the leader select 'Reset Instances' from his portrait tooltip.

Once that's done you can run back in and start over! Just to clarify, you did 25 man normal trash with only a five man group? Just to point out, the guide posted above is incorrect on quite a few points, so let me clarify: The friendly npcs will ONLY attack: Deathbound warders other SPAWNED mobs If you notice when you go in, until you kill the first 2 skeletons, other skellies come out of the door every minute or so, these are spawned, and the npcs will kill them.

If you kill them, they give no rep. The frost guys are the biggest pain. Make sure they are not facing your group, as their aoe is frontal, and will destroy anyone in its path. Paladins are quite amazing here honestly. The spiders cast a web wrap on people. The web wrap is a 9 second stun. The doorway is a reset, so even if things go south and your tank dies, the mobs reset once they try to run after your group. I did NOT find that hitting the 'reset instances' button reset the trash for me.

I just reformed my raid every run. You can 5 man the first two rooms easily. I'm almost honored on my team. My advice is only do the first room, then reset. It's faster and easier, as the second room of pulls kind of sucks. First pull - grab 2 door mobs, smash them to bits. Move up to the stairs, set up at an angle. Pull the 3 skeletons running across the room. SMash them to bits. Los him and his 4 skeleton buddies to the doorway stand just a bit outside until you get him out. Make sure he is NOT facing your group.

If you are a lucky bastard with a paladin, don't forget your aoe undead stun - it's amazing. Smash these 5 mobs to bits. Repeat for the other side. For the next pull, the guys in the center, I do it in two spurts. First I avengers shield so it hits the leftmost or rightmost spider. This will hit spider, frost guy, spider. Then I run the two melee skeletons to the door and smash them to bits. Then I run out the door, and reset the two spiders and frost guy.

Then I run back in, repeat the avengers shield, and then los them to the doorway like I did with the first caster, again making SURE that they do not face my team. Kill the spiders first, as they heal, and also the stuns get very annoying very fast. Remember you can inturrupt their heals. Next on both sides is a spider that is a single pull, and 4 skeletons that can be single pulled, but I just grab, and either 1 or 4 come.

Pull stuff to door, kill it, and at this point I just reset, as all the pulls up to now were pretty easy, but from here on in they get annoying. You can easily do friendly in around hours this way. In normal, heroic or hard modes if affirmative answer?

Much like the Shattered Sun Offensive against Kael'thas Sunstrider , the Ashen Verdict is a combination of separate orders for a common purpose: the final assault against the Scourge in Icecrown Citadel and the eventual fall of the Lich King. The strongest combatants of this coalition, along with the champions of the Alliance and Horde, will lead the charge against the citadel. Having learned how to bend [ Primordial Saronite ] to their will, outside of creating armor for the rank-and-file made out of saronite, the skilled smiths have also set out on a more legendary task: repurposing Arthas Menethil 's former weapon, [ Light's Vengeance ] — discarded in lieu of Frostmourne — to forge a new weapon: [ Shadowmourne ]. The process of forging Shadowmourne will play out in one of the most legendary quest chains seen since the opening of the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj :. Like the rings provided by the Violet Eye , these will become progressively more powerful as the reputation increases.
