Feminine fashion, travel, beauty and home decor from Charleston, South Carolina. For our last leg of our time in Vermont, we stayed at a darling Airbnb that Thomas had found online.
This quaint red farmhouse was set remotely in the woods, surrounded by a rainbow of foliage. The following morning we woke up to a cloud of thick mist surrounding the woods around the farmhouse. We arrived to the house in the dark the night before, so it was all new to our morning eyes.
That morning we realized there was a picnic table in the front yard under the prettiest golden tree. The perfect spot for breakfast!
We initially thought that the fog would die off by the time breakfast was ready, but when Thomas was flipping the last pancake, we soon realized we were wrong. But not wanting to stay inside, we still set up our feast out in the front.
We had a huge spread of cider donuts, fresh bread and jam, eggs we later brought out and a massive stack of pancakes. Your email address will not be published. La Bijoux Bella by mia. Gal Meets Glam Weekly Sneak Peek September 2, 2018
After all, walking in heel in several inches of snow is never easy. I was all dressed up with no where to go in rural Vermont, but simply loved the affect. Especially after living in New York, I find it to be a little intimidating to wear a full white ensemble. With great risks comes great rewards.
With that being said, I usually find myself purchasing shift dresses , shirt dresses , and the occasional statement dress to have on hold come special events. Not only does the neckline make this dress unique it also makes it appropriate for more formal events like; weddings, cocktail events, and formal sorority recruitment for you college ladies. I decided to take this dress for a spin this past weekend for a family function. I paired it with these Mary Jane heels and cat-eye sunglasses to pull together the vintage-inspired look.
